About Tara.
Caregiver, Advocate, Leader
Tara Jebens-Singh has lived in Ramsey County for over thirty years. Before that, she grew up in a small town in Northern Wisconsin. She is the daughter of a civil engineer and public health nurse. Tara attended Hamline University where she met RJ, her husband of thirty years. They raised their two boys in Roseville, and now live in North Oaks.
Tara has worked in public policy, wellness, education, equity, older adult, and mental health programs for over 25 years. She holds a Master’s in Planning from the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, and is now a full-time student pursuing her doctorate in Organizational Development and Change at Fielding Graduate University. Her free time is often spent in nature, enjoying local parks and trails.
