Tara is seeking the DFL endorsement as a candidate for Ramsey County Commissioner in District 1. You can help by becoming a delegate to the endorsing Convention.

Attend your DFL Precinct Caucus on February 27 at 6:30 pm
Volunteer to be a delegate to the Convention
Attend the Ramsey County Convention for District 1 on May 2 to endorse Tara to be our next Commissioner!
What you need to know:
1. Attend your DFL Precinct Caucus on Tuesday, February 27
A caucus is a gathering of neighbors to discuss issues, organize the local DFL party unit, and select delegates to the Conventions where endorsements of candidates will be made. Registration begins at 6:30 pm, and the caucus meetings convene at 7:00 pm.
People living in Ramsey County District 1 attend caucuses hosted by either Senate District 36 or Senate District 40. If you are not sure of where to attend, there are online resources to help you verify your DFL caucus location and find your precinct number.
People in 36A attend the DFL caucus at:

People in 36B and all of White Bear Township attend the DFL caucus at: Central Middle School 4857 Bloom Ave. White Bear Lake
All people in SD40 attend the DFL caucus at: Chippewa Middle School 5000 Hodgson Rd St. Paul, MN 55126
2. On Caucus night, sign up to be a delegate
There are two endorsement conventions. The first is on April 13 to endorse candidates running for state offices, and the second is on May 2 to endorse candidates running for county offices. Chosen delegates are encouraged but not obligated to attend both conventions.
When asked who would like to be a delegate to the Conventions, raise your hand and keep it raised until your information has been noted. The DFL values gender balance, so this may come into play if there are more volunteers than slots. If there are more volunteers than delegate slots, ask to be put on the alternate list - that way, if someone cannot attend, you can step in.
3. Attend the Ramsey County Convention for District 1 on May 2
Registration starts at 6:00 p.m. The District 2 Convention meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., and the District 1 Convention meeting begins at 7:30 p.m.
All District 1 delegates from SD36 and SD40 will convene at the same location for the District 1 County Convention:

What if you can’t attend your precinct caucus in person on February 27?
Even if you can’t attend your precinct caucus in person on February 27, you can still apply to be a delegate to the May 2 Endorsing Convention by completing a Non-Attendee Form instead. To fill out the non-attendee form, you'll need to know your precinct information. Submit the non-attendee form before February 24.
